I Carabinieri della Stazione di San Marco in Lamis insieme allo Squadrone Eliportato Cacciatori “Puglia”, coordinati dal Comando Compagnia di San Giovanni Rotondo, hanno arrestato un cittadino del Senegal per detenzione di sostanza stupefacente.
I militari della Stazione di San Marco in Lamis venivano a conoscenza che in San Giovanni Rotondo, in contrada Coppe Mezzanelle, nei pressi di una masseria isolata, era stato notato uno strano movimento di persone e mezzi.
Al fine di riscontrare le notizie acquisite, e soprattutto capire il motivo di questo continuo via vai di persone, i militari, alle prime ore del mattino, su decreto di perquisizione dell’A.G., si posizionavano all’esterno della masseria recintata e iniziavano un servizio di osservazione. Nel corso dell’attività, i Carabinieri notavano sopraggiungere a piedi, dal costone della montagna, un ragazzo di colore che trasportava una busta di medie dimensioni. Alla vista dei militari, il ragazzo abbandonava la busta e si allontanava di corsa cercando di disperdersi tra le sterpaglie, ma veniva inseguito e immediatamente bloccato a poca distanza.
La busta abbandonata, come si poteva successivamente appurare, conteneva circa 1.5 kg di sostanza stupefacente del tipo Marijuana.
I militari, pertanto, effettuavano a ritroso il percorso fatto dal cittadino Senegalese, regolare in Italia, e durante il tragitto scoprivano una piantagione da pochi giorni estirpata (che a seguito di accertamenti risultava insistere su area demaniale), una motozappa, un essiccatoio, materiale per la semina, un sofisticato impianto di irrigazione, nonché altre buste di Marijuana per un totale di 7 kg. Le successive analisi consentivano di accertare che si potevano ricavare circa 30000 dosi per un guadagno al dettaglio di circa 150.000 €.
Tutto il materiale e la sostanza stupefacente é stata sequestrata
L’arrestato è stato tradotto presso la Casa Circondariale di Foggia in attesa del rito direttissimo durante il quale il giudice, dopo aver convalidato l’arresto, ha disposto l’obbligo di dimora e il divieto di uscire dalla propria abitazione dalle ore 20.00 alle ore 07.00 e l’obbligo di firma.
L’azione di contrasto alla produzione e traffico di stupefacenti in area garganica da parte dei Carabinieri di Foggia continua senza sosta anche mediante il ricorso agli assetti specialistici quali lo Squadrone CC Cacciatori particolare addestrato in relazione dell’asperità del territorio.
