Il caldo africano, con il ciclone Lucifero che non cede, spinge la fuga dei pugliesi nelle campagne con le vacanze green da sold out tra campi, parchi e oasi naturalistiche con il massimo delle presenze in corrispondenza del Ferragosto per il turismo di prossimità. E’ quanto emerge da una analisi di Coldiretti Puglia, anche se l’incremento dei vacanzieri nazionali arriva solo parzialmente a compensare l’assenza degli ospiti stranieri, bloccati a causa della risalita dei contagi e dal diffondersi delle varianti nonostante il green pass.

Grande protagonista delle vacanze verdi è l’agriturismo dove, dopo le difficoltà causate dalle chiusure – sottolinea la Coldiretti regionale – ha ripreso a pieno ritmo la ristorazione, assieme all’accoglienza, grazie alla maggiore capacità di garantire il distanziamento sociale anche a tavola con la disponibilità di ampi spazi all’aperto. Basti ricordare che appena lo 0,3% delle denunce di infortunio da Covid-19 al lavoro registrate dall’Inail in Italia riguarda l’agricoltura.

La spinta verso un turismo “sicuro” e di prossimità, con la riscoperta dei piccoli borghi e dei centri minori nelle campagne italiane, ha portato gli agriturismi ad incrementare l’offerta di attività, dal pranzo sul plaid con i piedi sull’erba, all’agri-aperitivo a bordo piscina o tra i filari, ma c’è anche chi si è attrezzato per ospitare i commensali nel granaio o sulle balle di fieno nell’aia o ha organizzato cene romantiche tra i vigneti. Proposte che vanno ad aggiungersi servizi innovativi per sportivi, nostalgici, curiosi e ambientalisti, come l’equitazione, il tiro con l’arco, il trekking o attività culturali come la visita di percorsi archeologici o naturalistici, ma anche corsi di cucina e wellness.

A disposizione dei turisti ci sono – sottolinea la Coldiretti Puglia – oltre 900 aziende agrituristiche presenti in Puglia che sono in grado di offrire un potenziale di più di 262mila posti letto e 462 mila coperti per il ristoro, oltre a 11.600 mila piazzole per l’agricampeggio e a oltre 1500 attività di fattoria didattica per i più piccoli. L’agriturismo è apprezzato anche per gli acquisti dei souvenir alimentari delle vacanze in frantoi, malghe, cantine, aziende agricole dove sono offerti prodotti locali a chilometri zero direttamente dai produttori.

“L’agriturismo svolge un ruolo centrale per la vacanza Made in Italy post Covid perché contribuisce in modo determinante al turismo di prossimità nelle campagne per garantire il rispetto delle distanze sociali ed evitare l’affollamento. Gli agriturismi spesso situati in zone isolate in strutture familiari, dove le distanze si misurano in ettari – con un numero contenuto di posti letto e a tavola e con ampi spazi all’aperto, sono forse i luoghi più sicuri dove è più facile garantire il rispetto delle misure di sicurezza per difendersi dal contagio fuori dalle mura domestiche”, dice Filippo de Miccolis, presidente di Terranostra Puglia, associazione agrituristica di Coldiretti. Molte aziende agrituristiche quindi – continua la Coldiretti regionale – si sono attrezzate con l’offerta di alloggio e di pasti completi ma anche di colazioni al sacco o con la semplice messa a disposizione di spazi per picnic, tende, roulotte e camper per rispettare le esigenze di indipendenza di chi ama prepararsi da mangiare in piena autonomia ricorrendo eventualmente solo all’acquisto dei prodotti aziendali di Campagna Amica.

Il turismo in Puglia impatta per 6,5 miliardi sui consumi finali, pari al 12,3% sui consumi totali – insiste Coldiretti Puglia – una ricchezza straordinaria a cui contribuisce il turismo esperienziale negli agriturismi, come dimostrato dalla quota percentuale di soddisfazione nel rapporto con il territorio. Ai primi posti di gradimento c’è l’offerta di olio di qualità all’85%, di prodotti agroalimentari all’83%, paesaggi e colori per il 75%, l’ospitalità al 72% e l’offerta vitivinicola al 70%, continua Coldiretti Puglia.

Il consiglio è di rivolgersi – spiega la Coldiretti – a siti come www.campagnamica.it che permette di scegliere le strutture dove poter soggiornare nei più bei paesaggi della campagna italiana. Il vademecum della Coldiretti per il relax nel verde consiglia di verificare il possesso dell’autorizzazione comunale o dei relativi permessi per l’esercizio dell’attività agrituristica ed è preferibile scegliere gli agriturismi in cui il lavoro agricolo è visibile e dove l’accoglienza sia di tipo cordiale e curata direttamente dall’imprenditore agricolo o dalla sua famiglia. Ma poiché per la maggioranza degli ospiti l’agriturismo significa soprattutto cibi genuini e buona alimentazione è determinante – sottolinea la Coldiretti – controllare il legame dell’azienda con l’attività agricola, il tipo di azienda e i prodotti coltivati direttamente ed accertare che nel menu offerto siano indicati alimenti stagionali e tipici della zona. Vanno preferite le aziende che aderiscono a una associazione come Terranostra e che presentano le garanzie di accreditamento offerte da Campagna Amica. Infine prima di partire vale sempre la pena di prendere contatto con l’imprenditore agricolo per informazioni dettagliate su cosa offre l’azienda e sui prezzi, sul modo per raggiungerla e sulla distanza da altre mete interessanti ma anche per verificare quali attività ricreative e culturali ma anche servizi (ospitalità animali) sono offerte e comprese nel prezzo.
