Fine dell’incubo per un imprenditore di Trani vittima di usura: in manette un cerignolano

Caduto nella morsa dell’usura un imprenditore calzaturiero. Le indagini sono state coordinate dal nucleo di polizia economico della guardia di finanza di Bari. “Raddoppio” è stata denominata l’ operazione dei militari. Dopo la denuncia di un imprenditore di Trani, arrestato un 53enne cerignolano, che nel 2015 a causa di problemi economici dell’ imprenditore, ha finanziato 50mila euro, un debito che con l’inizio della pandemia è aumentato, con interessi del 180% su base annua.

Messo alle strette insieme alla propria famiglia, l’imprenditore ha deciso di denunciare l’usuraio che continuamente lo ha minacciato e pedinato ,costringendolo a pagare rate mensili di 26mila euro e cercando di rinegoziare il prestito. Il tutto dopo la denuncia è stato acquisito dagli investigatori che tramite intercettazioni telefoniche hanno verificato la veridicità del fatto, una sorta di patto usuraio che avrebbe portato l’imprenditore a terminare il proprio debito nel 2026 ,sino ad un importo di un milione e mezzo di euro.

I finanzieri ,dopo aver monitorato alcuni incontri tra cui la consegna in contanti di 35mila euro tra l’usurario e la sua vittima, avvenuto nell’area di parcheggio di un distributore di carburanti ubicato nella periferia di Canosa di Puglia, scattate le manette per l ‘usuraio, risultato in possesso di 15.000 euro in contanti, occultati nei propri indumenti intimi, che aveva appena ricevuto dall’imprenditore, vittima dell’aguzzino, a saldo della rata mensile.

Nel corso della successiva perquisizione dell’abitazione dell’usuraio, ubicata a Cerignola, sono stati rinvenuti, all’interno di due casseforti, ulteriori 8.000 euro in contanti e vari documenti, riguardo finanziamenti. Il reato contrastato è quello di usura aggravata e continuata . l’ uomo è stato associato presso il carcere di Trani , mentre la complessiva somma di euro 23.000 – profitto delle attività delittuose – è stata sottoposta a sequestro.
