Una collaborazione che mira a promuovere la conoscenza del tartufo italiano di qualità in abbinamento soprattutto al vino, quali elementi principe delle preziosità agroalimentari nazionali, incentivandone ogni utile sinergia tra i due mondi anche attraverso strategie di sviluppo culturale e di marketing territoriale. È questo l’obiettivo dell’accordo tra il Ministero delle Politiche agricole, alimentari e forestali e l’Accademia Italiana del Tartufo nel mondo, siglato oggi alla presenza del Sottosegretario Giuseppe L’Abbate presso l’Auditorium Giuseppe Avolio, nella sede della CIA-Agricoltori Italiani, nell’anteprima mondiale della previsione della stagione del Tartufo Bianco, organizzata in collaborazione con l’Associazione Italiana Sommelier.
“Il tartufo, come altri eccellenti prodotti enogastronomici del made in Italy, ci rendono fieri del nostro Paese nel mondo – dichiara il Sottosegretario alle Politiche agricole, Giuseppe L’Abbate – Con la loro elevata qualità, abbinata all’alto livello di ristorazione che siamo in grado di esprimere, costituiscono un veicolo di grande impatto sullo scenario internazionale non solo dal punto di vista gastronomico ma soprattutto culturale e di stile italiano. Saperi e sapori unici, che rappresentano un indiscusso vanto nazionale”.
L’Italia detiene il primato dei prodotti agroalimentari DOP e IGP nell’UE con 300 prodotti registrati. Le nostre eccellenze enogastronomiche non rappresentano solo un’enorme risorsa economica, come confermano i dati dell’export agroalimentare con un andamento positivo dal 2009 ad oggi che supera i 41 miliardi di euro (41,7 nel 2018) ma anche una straordinaria occasione per raccogliere e promuovere una grande eredità culturale. Il cibo diventa così, ancora una volta, un mezzo per conoscere, condividere, confrontarsi e il tartufo rappresenta un prodotto d’eccellenza, testimonial dell’italianità nel mondo.
“È per questo – prosegue il Sottosegretario L’Abbate – che oggi ho il piacere di tenere a battesimo l’accordo tra il Ministero delle Politiche agricole, alimentari e forestali e l’Accademia Italiana del Tartufo nel mondo. Dobbiamo diffondere e promuovere il tartufo italiano attraverso manifestazioni in grado di far apprezzare la sua straordinaria versatilità e la ricchezza culturale dei grandi vini nazionali. Oggi – conclude il Sottosegretario L’Abbate – poniamo, dunque,un ulteriore tassello nella valorizzazione delle nostre eccellenze enogastronomiche.
