In data odierna, la Polizia di Stato, al termine delle indagini coordinate e dirette dalla locale Procura della Repubblica, ha dato esecuzione ad una ordinanza applicativa della custodia cautelare in carcere a carico di due fratelli, F. P. P e P.G. P., rispettivamente classe 2000 e classe 1999, nonché nei confronti di A. P. G., classe 2002, tutti con precedenti di polizia anche specifici.
L’articolata attività investigativa, svolta dalla squadra mobile di Foggia e corroborata dalle immagini riprese dai sistemi di video – sorveglianza, dalle attività tecniche, da perquisizioni locali e personali, ha consentito di raccogliere gravi elementi di colpevolezza a carico dei destinatari del provvedimento restrittivo ritenuti, a vario titolo, responsabili di tre rapine commesse in Foggia in data 15, 17 e 26 febbraio 2021, in danno di una tabaccheria e di un supermercato.
Più nel dettaglio, con riferimento al primo episodio delittuoso, posto in essere nel primo pomeriggio del 15 febbraio ai danni di una tabaccheria sita a Foggia, si è accertato come due persone, con volto travisato da passamontagna e indossanti guanti in lattice, giunti in corrispondenza dell’attività commerciale con uno scooter privo di targa, e una volta fatta irruzione armati di pistola, poi rivelatasi una “scacciacani” priva di tappo rosso, si siano fatti consegnare l’incasso della giornata dal proprietario. Nel corso dell’azione criminosa, uno dei due responsabili, ha esploso a scopo intimidatorio diversi colpi a salve.
Il medesimo modus operandi è stato adottato anche nelle rapine del 17 e del 26 ai danni di un supermercato di questo centro cittadino.
Come nella precedente occasione due persone giunte a bordo di ciclomotore, di cui era stato coperto il colore originario al fine di sviare le indagini, hanno fatto irruzione con arma in pugno all’interno del locale commerciale, facendosi consegnare l’incasso.
Proprio la meticolosa analisi delle immagini di video sorveglianza delle telecamere appartenenti ai locali commerciali teatro delle rapine nonché di quelle situate nelle vie limitrofe, il perfetto connubio tra investigazioni di tipo tradizionale e attivazione di mirati presidi tecnologici, ha consentito l’acquisizione di un quadro indiziario di assoluta gravità, utile altresì alla ricostruzione del modus operandi degli indagati nonostante si sostituissero tra loro nei ruoli ricoperti nelle rapine.
Nel corso delle indagini sono stati recuperati gli abiti e il ciclomotore utilizzati dai tre rapinatori per perpetrare le rapine.
