Continua è l’attività dei carabinieri della Compagnia di Foggia finalizzata a contrastare il fenomeno della detenzione ai fini di spaccio di sostanze stupefacenti.
Questa volta a finire nella “rete” dei controlli d’iniziativa da parte dei carabinieri del Nucleo Operativo e Radiomobile, è stato un 30enne originario del capoluogo dauno, già noto alle Forze dell’Ordine, che, nel procedere a velocità sconsiderata lungo la SS16 in direzione Cerignola a bordo della sua Alfa Romeo Giulietta, ha insospettito non poco i militari dell’Arma che, dopo aver raggiunto il veicolo, hanno proceduto al controllo del conducente e del mezzo, rinvenendo 70.000 euro in banconote di vario taglio nel vano airbag anteriore destro. Il controllo è stato esteso anche all’abitazione dell’uomo, dove è stato rinvenuto 1kg di sostanza stupefacente del tipo marijuana, vario materiale utilizzato per il confezionamento e il peso della suddetta sostanza e una macchina elettronica per contare le banconote, tutto sottoposto a sequestro penale.
La sostanza stupefacente, sottoposta ad analisi tecnica presso il Laboratorio Analisi Sostanze Stupefacenti del Comando Provinciale di Foggia, sarebbe stata in grado di produrre 261 dosi droganti da immettere successivamente nelle diverse piazze di spaccio del capoluogo dauno.
Per il 30enne sono “scattate” le manette per il reato di detenzione ai fini di spaccio di sostanze stupefacenti e, al termine delle formalità di rito, come disposto dalla Procura della Repubblica di Foggia, lo stesso è stato sottoposto alla misura precautelare degli arresti domiciliari in attesa dell’udienza di convalida. Il denaro contante è stato versato su libretto postale infruttifero intestato a Fondo Unico Giustizia.
L’Autorità Giudiziaria ha convalidato l’arresto disponendo per il 30enne la misura cautelare dell’obbligo di dimora nel comune di Foggia, della permanenza notturna in casa nonché dell’obbligo di presentazione quotidiana presso la locale Stazione Carabinieri.
