Da oggi illuminate di arancione le caserme che ospitano “Una stanza tutte per sé”Progetto Arma dei Carabinieri-Soroptimist che hanno aderitoalla campagna “Orange The World”In occasione della giornata internazionale per l’eliminazione della violenza contro le donne, da oggi saranno illuminate di arancione le caserme dell’Arma dei Carabinieri che ospitano le 150 stanze del progetto “Una stanza tutte per sé”, nato per assistere la donna nel delicato momento della denuncia delle violenze subite, grazie a una collaborazione istituzionale tra l’Arma e il Soroptimist International d’Italia, l’associazione di donne impegnate nel sostegno all’avanzamento della condizione femminile nella società.“Una stanza tutta per sé” è un ambiente allestito in modo che la donna possa sentirsi a proprio agio nel raccontare di volta in volta le emozioni negative vissute, accolta in un luogo dedicato da personale specializzato.Per questo, il 25 novembre del 2019, il Comandante Generale dell’Arma dei Carabinieri Gen. Giovanni Nistri e la Presidente del Soroptimist Mariolina Coppola hanno sottoscritto un formale protocollo finalizzato a disciplinare l’attività di collaborazione nell’ambito del progetto “Una stanza tutta per sé”, contenente le linee guida per l’arredamento delle stanze che deve tener conto della psicologia dei colori e delle immagini. Ogni stanza, inoltre, è dotata di un sistema audio-video per la verbalizzazione computerizzata che evita alla vittima più momenti di testimonianza e che può servire per la fase processuale successiva.In ogni caserma, dove lo spazio lo ha consentito, è stato previsto un angolo per l’accoglienza o lo svago dei bambini che accompagnano la mamma, che potrebbero essere stati oggetto di violenza diretta o assistita.L’invito a una maggiore sensibilizzazione verso la violenza di genere e l’attività dei club locali del Soroptimist hanno consentito al progetto di estendersi in poco tempo in moltissime caserme italiane, oggi illuminate simbolicamente di arancione secondo quanto previsto dalla campagna internazionale “Orange the World”, a cui anche Arma dei Carabinieri e Soroptimist hanno aderito.
