Con sentenza in data 01.12.2020, il Giudice per l’Udienza Preliminare presso il Tribunale di Bari, a conclusione del rito abbreviato, ha inflitto pene rilevanti nei confronti di 8 dei 27 indagati nell’ambito dell’operazione “Friends”, coordinata da questa Direzione Distrettuale Antimafia ed effettuata, tra il 2015 e il 2019 in territorio garganico, dalla Squadra Mobile della Polizia di Stato di Foggia, dallo S.C.I.C.O. Roma e dal G.I.C.O. del Nucleo di Polizia Economico-Finanziaria della Guardia di Finanza di Bari.In particolare, sono stati condannati il capo del clan lucerino “Bayan/Papa/Ricci”, PAPA Alfredo cl. 1958, (14 anni di reclusione) e i sodali COCCIA Francesco Antonio, cl. 1958, (anni 6 e mesi 8 di reclusione), PETITO Urbano, cl. 1954, (anni 5 di reclusione), PIETROSANTO Antonio Valerio, cl. 1968, (anni 5 e mesi 4 di reclusione) e RICCI Francesco, cl. 1970 (anni 5 e mesi 4 di reclusione), responsabili per essersi associati tra loro costituendo un’organizzazione dedita all’acquisto, alla detenzione e alla cessione di sostanze stupefacenti di vario tipo, tra cui marijuana, hashish e cocaina.È stato, altresì, condannato LOMBANI Libero, cl. 1987, (anni 7 e mesi 4 di reclusione), partecipe del clan “Li Bergolis” e ritenuto responsabile per essersi associato alla predetta organizzazione armata dedita all’acquisto, alla detenzione e alla cessione di sostanze stupefacenti di vario tipo, tra cui hashish e cocaina. Inoltre, sono state inflitte pene anche a DE AMICIS Luigi, cl. 1960, (anni 2 e mesi 2 di reclusione ed euro 6.000,00 di multa) e a PISERCHIA Michele, cl. 1984, (anni 1 e mesi 8 di reclusione ed euro 1.670,00 di multa) ritenuti responsabili, rispettivamente, il primo di aver custodito per conto dell’organizzazione criminale lucerina 2 pacchi di hashish precedentemente acquistati da esponenti del clan “Li Bergolis” e il secondo di aver ceduto cocaina ad un sodale del predetto clan.In più, il Tribunale ha disposto: l’interdizione perpetua dai pubblici uffici nei confronti dei suddetti PAPA Alfredo, COCCIA Francesco Antonio, LOMBANI Libero, PETITO Urbano, PIETROSANTO Antonio Valerio e RICCI Francesco; la confisca dei beni sequestrati ai menzionati COCCIA e PIETROSANTO (immobili, quote societarie, autovetture e rapporti finanziari); la libertà vigilata a carico del citato PAPA Alfredo per la durata di anni tre, da espiare all’esito dell’esecuzione della pena.I soggetti ora condannati erano stati attinti – unitamente ad altre 16 persone, tra cui figura anche Enzo MIUCCI (cl. 1983), detto “u criatur”, capo del clan “Li Bergolis”, per cui continua il processo penale – da misura cautelare personale nel mese di novembre 2019, in quanto ritenuti responsabili, a vario titolo, dei reati di produzione, traffico e detenzione illeciti di sostanze stupefacenti, associazione finalizzata al traffico illecito di sostanze stupefacenti, ricettazione e detenzione illegale di armi.L’intervenuta sentenza di condanna testimonia l’efficacia dell’azione repressiva, posta in essere diuturnamente da questa Direzione Distrettuale Antimafia in sinergia con le Forze di polizia, al fine di debellare la perniciosa presenza della criminalità organizzata.
