Inaugurata questa mattina, dinanzi alla questura della polizia a Foggia, la stele dei caduti che racconta la memoria di ogni agente in servizio che ha perso la vita per la propria patria.

Vite di eroi anche dopo la morte, vite spezzate, a scoprire il velo che ha coperto la stele, il Prefetto Carmine Esposito , il Capo della polizia Lamberto Giannini , e il Commissario del
Comune di foggia, Marilisa Magno che definisce la stele un forte segnale importante, funzione per le vittime di mafia e per la difesa di valori di legalità e giustizia.

Giornata particolare, testimoniata dalla presenza di tante autorità per celebrare un rito importante con nomi che dal 1956 dall’ articolazione delle Br,fino ad oggi hanno lavorato ,per la tutela della collettività come Antonio Gentile e Nicola Fumarolo, feriti ,deceduti durante un controllo a Cerignola ,da due malviventi che hanno aperto il fuoco ,a loro dedicata ,la “sala crisi” multimediale destinata alla gestione di situazioni emergenziali di rilievo.

Presenti il Sindaco Miglio di San Severo, il Vice Presidente alla Regione Piemontese e il Presidente della Provincia Gatta ,tra gli ospiti anche il procuratore Vaccaro, a cui sono andati i ringraziamenti insieme ad altre autorità come il Rettore dell’Università di Foggia, Limone ,gli imprenditori vittime di estorsioni e i dirigenti delle strutture sanitarie private.

Terminando con la benedizione della corona da parte dell’ Arcivescovo di Bovino Monsignor Vincenzo Pelvi.
