Nell’ambito dell’azione rivolta al contrasto dell’evasione fiscale, i finanzieri del Comando Provinciale di Foggia hanno scoperto, a seguito di una verifica ai fini delle imposte dirette, dell’IVA e delle accise sui carburanti, una cospicua evasione fiscale con relativo danno per le casse dello Stato.
Le attività ispettive dei finanzieri hanno interessato un’azienda di Orta Nova (FG), operativa nel settore della commercializzazione e distribuzione di carburanti per autotrazione, con la scoperta di un sistema di frode perpetrato attraverso il massiccio utilizzo di documentazione falsa strumentale ad evadere le accise sui carburanti, l’IVA e le imposte dirette.
I titolari dell’impresa, al termine dell’attività ispettiva condotta dai militari della Compagnia della Guardia di Finanza di Foggia, nel tentativo di rendere in tutto o in parte inefficace l’azione di recupero dei crediti da parte dello Stato, si sono spogliati di parte dei propri beni, violando le norme in vigore.
Per evitare l’ulteriore depauperamento e distrazione delle disponibilità economiche e patrimoniali dell’azienda e dei suoi legali rappresentanti, è stata avanzata dal Reparto del Corpo e fatta propria dalla Procura della Repubblica di Foggia la proposta di attuare a garanzia del credito dello Stato un sequestro di beni per equivalente fino alla concorrenza di circa 833 mila euro, che l’Ufficio GIP del medesimo Tribunale ha accolto e disposto.
Il provvedimento del Tribunale, eseguito nei giorni scorsi dai finanzieri nei confronti dei coniugi titolari della società sottoposta a verifica fiscale, ha portato al sequestro di n. 4 immobili e di un compendio aziendale, oltre ai mezzi ivi impiegati.
Il servizio posto in essere attesta l’impegno quotidiano della Guardia di Finanza nella lotta ad ogni forma di evasione fiscale al fine anche di una più equa ripartizione del prelievo impositivo tra i cittadini. Inoltre, le frodi fiscali in materia di accise arrecano sia gravi danni alle entrate dello Stato sia effetti distorsivi alle regole della libera concorrenza.
