Era in vacanza a Vieste per godersi il sole di fine estate e aveva deciso di andare a fare jogging in spiaggia al mattino presto. 71enne, tedesca, appassionata di sport e con la voglia di iniziare la giornata con un po’ di attività sportiva, si è trovata invece a dover “combattere” con un pregiudicato viestano, che si era appostato in spiaggia di buon ora attendendo la sua “preda”. Una volta vicino, mentre si stava masturbando, la spingeva a terra facendola cadere e tentando con forza di spogliarla e proseguire nel proprio intento criminale. Fortunatamente, il tentativo di resistenza della turista e le sue urla hanno attirato l’attenzione di una donna poco distante che subito ha dato l’allarme.I Carabinieri della Tenenza di Vieste, assieme a quelli del  Reggimento Puglia di Bari, infatti, allertati, si sono messi immediatamente alla ricerca del malvivente e, nonostante il suo tentativo di camuffarsi, lo hanno rintracciato poco distante e lo hanno tratto in arresto in flagranza di reato con l’accusa di violenza sessuale.L’uomo, viestano, pregiudicato, 45enne, è stato associato alla Casa Circondariale di Foggia a disposizione della magistratura. L’arresto è stato convalidato ed è stata disposta la misura della custodia cautelare in carcere.
